SHANIDAR, SAFE RETURN

40,000 years ago, a small band of hominins, Neanderthals as well as Cro-Magnons, went on an epic journey for survival from what is now southern France to a cave in Iraqi Kurdistan called Shanidar. The leader of the group is Haizea, a young Neanderthal woman, who is traveling with her lover, Esti, and her young son, Eneko. 

SHANIDAR, SAFE RETURN uses original graphics and sound effects built on a foundation of extensive research into prehistoric times, locations, events, and types of humans. This is a work of speculative fiction, a fantasy about who we are and where we came from. 

The reader makes choices, both forward and back into the story, to discover three interwoven stories. The reader, the first-person character, is Haizea.
